About The Position

METCOR/LSI has a need for an E-Learning Specialist with Articulate expertise to support the development and delivery of technical and procedural training materials. This position is full-time and offers a long-term opportunity for internal growth within an established organization.

All positions require the ability to pass a background investigation conducted by a federal government agency and a drug test. US citizenship is required.

The E-Learning Specialist role includes, but is not limited to:

  • The design and development of web-based training (WBT) materials using Articulate
  • Collaborative design and development of training materials (presentations, quick reference tools, instructor/participant guides, storyboards, etc.) on a variety of topics
  • Editing and content review for other team members
  • Creating master templates for WBTs
  • Creating 508 compliant WBTs
  • Testing builds for compliance and functionality
  • Developing engaging interactive slides and working with embedded video

What You Bring to the Table

It's important that candidates have the preferred qualifications or the minimum qualifications with a desire to learn and grow.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in web-based training (WBT) design and development
  • Advanced knowledge of Articulate development software
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • 504/508 and SCORM compliance experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with the ADDIE process of Instructional Systems Design
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graphic design experience
  • Skilled in creating and using variables and triggers for interactive slides

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree (in a related field such as Instructional Design, Education, or English preferred)
